UCLA — DIYnamics
CRCS is working with UCLA faculty in a multi-institutional collaboration to further develop DIYnamics Kits and outreach efforts. Our goal is to provide hands on education tools for Atmosphere, Ocean, and Climate Science phenomena.
Tufts Center for Engineering Education and Outreach
CRCS is working with the Tufts CEEO and the Future Education Technology Lab with research on AI in the Classroom. AI and Machine Learning are powerful tools in STEM fields in general and Climate STEM fields in particular. The next generation of innovators to use these tools are in our K-16 classrooms now.
Shingle Shanty Preserve and Research Station (SSPRS)
SSPRS is responsible for the conservation and study of the largest southern presence of Boreal Peatlands in North America. CRCS is working with SSPRS to facilitate public and educational engagement with Peatland data collection and communication.
National Eclipse Balloon Project (NEBP)
CRCS is working with the Hanover High School Eclipse Balloon Project team. This team is engaged in a NASA funded effort to use weather balloons to collect data during the 2023 and 2024 solar eclipse events.
TERC Biomimicry as an Authentic Anchor (BAA)
CRCS is supporting the NSF funded BAA project at TERC. Currently the team is working on developing teacher professional development and classroom curriculum resources to extend the BioRobots project.
NHASEA Professional Learning Community
CRCS supports the New Hampshire Association of Special Education Administrators through the co-facilitation of a professional learning community focused on the use of generative AI tools in special education.
